Product: Lightning Book

Lightning is a Corporate Booking Tool which allows CTM’s customers to book a combination of Flights, Hotels, Rail and Car Rental both Domestically and Internationally.

The tool is written in Angular, and consists of a number REST micro services from it’s server to it’s web client, as well as a large number of integrations to external partners.

During my time at CTM I tested, and oversaw the successful development and launch of the platform.
As well as it’s integrations with Jetstar, Expedia Affiliate Networks, Flightstats, Travelfusion, Eurostar, Trainline and Rex)

Product: Lightning Book Mobile

The mobile component of the Lightning Product was developed by a local, but third party mobile developer.
The testing of this platform, both during development and for app submission and approval was managed by CTM.

The application is primarily written in Xamarin, with some iOS and android specific features and makes use of the existing micro-service architecture of the Lightning Platform.

Product: flybuysTravel

flybuysTravel is an online booking engine targeted at flybuys customers to both earn and consume their flybuys loyalty points.
The platform is written in Angluar and is fully mobile responsive for Phones, Tablets and Desktop browsers – in addition to being a AA accessible compliant platform.

Like Lightning it integrates with a number of external content providers and relies on a micro-service architecture on top of a SQL and Elastic Database.

Product: SMART

The SMART platform is a web portal for CTM customers to gain access to their booking tool of choice, as well as access a number of CTM widgets to provide travellers and travel arrangers with relevant information.

The platform also provides a number of back end service functions such as taxi sharing and risk alert notifications which are built upon it’s itinerary database, housed within an elastic database.

Product: Tramada

Tramada is an invoicing platform that sits between the GDS (Global Distribution System) and CTM. The system pulls bookings from the booking management tools and creates invoices for the travel. It also acts as the profile and debtor management solution, where the business configures and manages the traveller profiles for each client along with payment and traveller arranger permissions.
